By Alexa Brown and Natalie Field

Ever wonder what it’s like in the life of a PE teacher? Now you can enter the life of our wonderful PE teacher Mrs. Pierson. (Natalie walks in eating her pizza, Ms. Pierson is eating pizza too) N: This pizza is good! P: Eh, good enough. I like my peanut butter and jelly better. A: I don’t like peanut butter and jelly. N: Me neither really. P: Oh, is this going to be in the newspaper? A&N: Yeah P: Oh, so you’re with the newsbag? A&N: Mmhm. Okay, let’s get started. 1) A&N: How long have you been working at RSM? P: Uhh...since it opened. I don’t know....from day one. I’m old, I don’t remember such detail. N: Wooohoo, we finished the first question. A: Oh, I know and it took like five minutes. We’re gonna be here a while(wipes hand on forehead) 2) A&N: What job would you be doing if you weren’t a PE teacher? P: Oh gosh, probably a dental hygienist. I’m getting my teeth cleaned and my breath is gonna be great! 3) A&N: What inspired you to become a PE teacher? P: (Sips her Versor) Well, I was always very athletic and I liked to be outdoors. 4) A&N: What is your favorite sport? P: Running, walking...yeah. 5) A&N: What is your least favorite sport? P: mm....(thinks) umm.... gosh I like them all! 6) A&N: What is your favorite childhood memory? P: (thinks...long silence...) going to the beach with my family. 7) A&N: What sports did you used to play as a child? P: Swimming and running. 8) A&N: What is your favorite color? P: Red A: Oh, mine’s green. 9) A&N: What is your favorite food? N: Mine is pasta pasta PASTA!! Oh my gosh, I love pasta!!!!!!!!!! P: Salad. Friend: Healthy healthy! 10) A&N: What is your favorite animal? P: Ooh, I don’t like animals that much. I’d have to say dogs. N: I’m getting a pug soon! P: Ooh! a pug! My son has a pug. That’s why I like dogs. N: I know. They’re so cute! P: Yeah my son has a black one. N: Yeah I like both colors of pugs. 11) A&N: What do you like the most about your job? P: I get to laugh everyday. Spending time with kids. I get to wear casual clothes. All my neighbors ask where I’m going and I say ‘work’ and they say, Dressed like that?!?! And I say, yeah. It also helps me say young....sorta. 12) A&N: What do you like to do in your spare time? P: Read and exercise. That’s a good answer, huh?
