			<title><![CDATA[Girls&#39; track dominates sectionals]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <br><div class='ArticleImgDesc'><img style='width:350px' src="http://my.hsj.org/Portals/2/Schools/148/Article284483_phoebealone (193 x 300).jpg" /><br /><p><br></p></div>  The Arrowhead girls dominated the WIAA sectional meet at Homestead last Friday, winning the meet with a whopping 127.50 points, 44 points ahead of second place finishers Whitefish Bay.   
  Arrowhead advanced  15 girls to state including, Jackie Pasholk, Alana Merkow, Jenny Smith, Cami Gilson, Taylor McDowell, Amanda Bauer, Gabrielle Levac, Andie Zeman, Liz Duchow, Ali Slater, Heather Bong, Phoebe Nyren, Rachel Uebersohn, Mariah Berendes, and Delia Equitz.   
  Throwers Alana Merkow and Jackie Pasholk qualified in both the disk and the shot put. Pasholk won the shot put with a toss of 41-01, and Merkow placed third with a throw of 37-02. Pasholk placed second in the discus and Merkow placed third.   
  Freshman Jenny Smith qualified in the high jump and placed first with a jump of 5-02. Freshman Cami Gilson placed third in the pole vault with 10-00, and freshman Jenna Jubeck placed third in the long jump. Nygren placed second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 46.46, Marissa Savitch of Homestead won with a time of 45.57.   
  Arrowhead stacked all four relay teams, and all four advanced to state. The 4x800 meter relay team of Taylor McDowell, Andie Zeman, Amanda Bauer, and Gabrielle Levac placed third with a time of 9:36.03, Germantown won the event with a time of 9:33.79. The 4x200 meter relay team consisting of Duchow, Nygren, Slater, and Bong placed second with a time of 1:44.17, King won the event with a time of 1:39.68. The 4x100 meter relay of Slater, Duchow, Uebersohn, and Bong broke the school record running a time of 49.20, King won with a time of 47.95. Closing out the meet was the 4x400 meter relay team of Berendes, Slater, Zeman, and Bong who placed third with a time of 4:04.02, Germantown won the relay with a time of 4:01.02.   
  The Warhawks will compete up in Lacrosse at the 2009 WIAA State Meet next Friday and Saturday!
