American Idol leaves Adam fans in upset

http://my.hsj.org/schools/newspaper/tabid/100/view/frontpage/schoolid/148/articleid/284821/american_idol_leaves_adam_fans_in_upset.aspx

By Mariah Wnuk and Kaitlyn Nowicki

“And this year’s American Idol is… Kris Allen,” said Ryan Secrest. Kris Allen fans were jumping out of their seats with joy, but Adam Lambert fans were doing the exact opposite.
Although Kris Allen won the contest many don’t think he will go as far as this year’s runner up, Adam Lambert. For example Taylor Hicks, remember him? No? Well that’s not surprising since he never had a hit single. Chris Daughtry, lead singer of Daughtry, never won American Idol. Chris was actually third in line to win American Idol and look where he is today. Only few beat the so called “American Idol curse” these people include: Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks.
The controversy didn’t just end at the runner up. Danny Goecky was liked among many people as well. “Danny Goecky should have won because he is more marketable and had a better attitude then the remaining two,” says American idol fan.
Only time will tell which contestant has there hit on the top 20 songs. Will the American Idol curse continue?
