By Nataleigh Mosby

When Michele’ Holman (7 TH Cub council president) was
interviewed about her goals these were her answers. Her plans for OJHS are to go back to the core values of OJHS where all the students are proud to be a C.U.B. Michele’ sees CUB as an acronym for C-continuing U-undying B-bravery. Why does Michele think she won? “I feel I was chosen the 7 TH grade president because the students thought I represented the change they wanted and needed, and they wanted their voices heard.” At this time Michele’ has no plans to run for any thing else but” who knows what the future will hold?” She ran for Cub Council because she wants to take OJHS’s student body into a new direction of change. “The students of OJHS will rise to the occasion, and we will be a class to remember.” Her concern about the student body is our ‘lack of school spirit ’. “I feel we must bring back the other school spirit groups and get this school crunk again!”

Her promise is to hear the voices of all OJHS students and not just some select few. She plans to make sure all students have the same opportunities, and all voices are important.” I feel I’m the best person for the job because I can relate to all students. I don’t believe in social groups and cliques, I believe in the whole student body at OJHS.” She thinks that she will reach all of her goals as president, “Because of all the energy and excitement I bring will spill over into our student body” and she believes that we will reach our goals together.
We all congratulate Michele’ Holman on winning 7th grade Cub Council president! We all wish you good luck!!
