By Nathan Shaver

Tupac died September 13, 1996. He was gunned down in Las Vegas Nevada on September 7, 1996 after leaving a boxing match with friend and producer of Death Row Records, Suge Knight. It is said that while at a red light a white Cadillac pulled up next to their vehicle and fired 12 bullets at the car. Tupac was hit five times and was pronounced dead on Friday the 13, of September 1996. Although he was pronounced dead a lot of people still believe that Tupac is alive. The research showed some extraordinary results. In one of Tupac’s last interviews he quoted “ This is my last interview. If I get killed I want people to have the real story.” There is also a theory that goes along with his album “Makaveli the Don Killuminate the 7-day theory.” He was shot at on the seventh and after the shooting he survived the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12, and died on the 13th. That’s seven days right there! It is said that if you rearrange the letters in the name of the album it can be respelled as “ok on the seventh you think I’m dead yet I’m really alive.” Coincidence? Maybe. His video “I ain’t mad at Cha” was released only a few days after his death. The song that was track 13 on the album “All Eyes On Me” in the video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. Also in the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend, which is very similar to how he was shot in real life. If you find that suspicious how about the fact that in the song “Life Goes On” he raps about his own funeral. In most of his songs he sings about being buried. Yet he was allegedly cremated the day after he “died”. He could have been shot at the night of the Tyson fight and died on the 13 but for some apparent reason there were never any pictures released of him in the hospital. To top it all off the driver of the vehicle (Suge Knight) was only grazed by a bullet on the arm out of all 12 bullets and was never taken in for any questioning about the shooting. In December of ’96, Tupac’s new album went Platinum. In interviews a short time before the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a “gangsta” and get out of the limelight. In a later interview he mentions coming back stronger and about taking five bullets, which is exactly how many times it is said that he was shot. Now after his “death” his music has became more popular than ever. Tupac now goes by the name Makaveli, Machiavelli was a war strategist who advocated faking ones death to fool their enemies. Tupac was a fan of Machiavelli and read several of his books while in prison. Is he taking some of his advice? Inside one of his albums it reads “Exit Tupac Enter Makaveli.” Could Tupac have died and Makaveli been born? So now its up to you …what do you believe? Is he alive? Or is he dead?
