   Mrs.
Kline is in charge of all of the contests in El Segundo Middle School. So is
the PTA, but Mrs. Kline is mainly in charge of the contests. Mrs. Kline has a
lot of information that she shared in her interview.
             Mrs.
Kline says that each year, two to three contests are held at ESMS. Usually
about fifty to one hundred entrees are received for each contest. The contests
are usually poster contests or drawing contests.
              The
reflections contest is an example of a drawing contest. In the reflections
contest, there is a theme you have to represent by a category you pick, like
visual arts. This year’s theme was, “Wow”. In visual arts, you draw what you
think would represent the theme.
             An
example of a poster contest is a contest that is held from the El Segundo
police Department, a teacher or one of the workers in the office will give you
a poster that gives you directions. You will draw a picture about what the
directions tell you to draw. The best, neat looking, and the well explained one
wins.
             The place
where you receive your contests entry forms is where you deposit them. If you
want to enter a contest, you can receive a contest entry from the office or a
teacher, you can deposit your entrees in the office. Remember, you got to enter
to win!
