   At El
Segundo Middle School we have tons of events.
The current events that are going on right now are supply drives,
contest, and clubs.    The supply drive is
for juvenile delinquents.    This is a very
important drive, the leadership club is collecting school supplies to give to
kids who are going back to school to start a new beginning.     A lot of contests have just passed, for
example the reflection contest, and an essay contests to earn some major money.    Plus there are contests going on right now,
the Lakers contests, and this one is where you have to write an essay.    The winner will get two tickets to go to a
Lakers game.    Then during half time they
will receive an environmentally friendly award.

           The office
updates the bulletin probably about every week.
They do that so students and teachers can keep up with what is happening
here at the Middle School.    The teachers
and staff at El Segundo Middle School choose what events will happen.    It would be really cool though if a student
got to decide what events should happen.
That has probably happened in the past years, at least once or twice.

           There are
two main bulletins.    One is outside the
office, and the other is on the ESMS school page on the internet.    The one outside the office is changed by the
people in the office, but also by student council occasionally.    They do keep the bulletin updated the best
they can.    But even when they don’t
they make sure it at least gets change before the week that something is about
to end is over.

           Many things
will be coming up in the next trimester.
Some things will happen that people already know about.    Plus new surprises will come up.    The calendar helps ESMS so much, it keeps
everyone informed, and on task.    Without
the calendar not a lot of people will know what is going on.    The workers in the office plan to keep all
the teachers, staff, and students knowing what is happening at the school for a
very long time.    Almost all of the
students check the bulletin on a regular basis.
Thanks to our bulletin nobody should not know what’s going on here at
El Segundo Middle School.
