Boy’s Junior Varsity Basketball ByKelli Y.        TheBoy’s Junior Varsity Basketball team ended the season with a record of 6-4.   They were just one game out of secondplace.   Lead by Coach Polasek, theteam worked hard while laughing and having fun everyday.   The JV team was primarily made up of 7 th graders with just two 6 th graders.   Every player gave 100 percent and was vital to the overallsuccess of the season.        Accordingto Larry M., a veteran from last year’s JV team, “The best part about thisseason was finishing with a better record than last year.”   The returning players from last yearhelped to keep those new players motivated and focused.          Mr.Polasek was also proud of his JV team.   “The first game was probably the best game I saw them play.   It went into overtime and we were ableto win it in the last few moments of the game.”          Thatfirst game helped to start the season off right.   The momentum continued and the team finished with animpressive season.       ]]> Fri, 16 Jan 2009 16:47:18 GMT
