By Daniel Martinez (Staff Reporter)

Have you felt the midst of the air precipitating back to its original position in society? Exculpating the idea of lost time when you were watching reality T.V. instead to stories of art. TV writers have relinquished the morale dilemma of having their work unaccredited scripts being downloaded on the world-wide-web. All in protest against producers, letting [writers] work unrewarded on the medium of internet. After four months of subtle writers protesting, producers spurred onto changing their ideals on February 10th. “Imagine if they didn’t change their contract,” Video production Lance Mcvay said. “Downloading is the future of television, so they needed to fight for it sooner or later.” Whereas the effects of the protesting caused deprivation of new television series and an increasing amount of re-runs. “I noticed nothing was really on,” Junior Khamara Sexton said. “So I stopped watching a lot of TV.” Reality TV is even too numerous to name. A short list presented so you can visualize the mass effect of RTV takeover: American Idol, That’s Amore, Rock of Love, Big Brother ect… It’s rational to justify CBS deployment of another season only after two months of its pervious entry. Usually a new season of Big brother is aired during the middle of July, but when you have writers protesting, it’s harder to formulate a new script. Although the majority of RTV key to VH1, MTV, and TLC other stations play host to old movies, that upon criteria of expected shows to be broadcasted everyday [ie news, sports, cooking]. To avoid this from getting into something serious, producers and the writers agreed to a compromise. “Some of my favorite programs had half seasons. I was pissed,” Senior Connor said. Most shows were shortened while some writers didn’t feel the motive to protest helping the show to run as planned. “My favorite show The Wire wasn’t affected by the writers strike,” Japer Coach Versino said. So there is a possibility you weren’t deprived of television viewing pleasure because the writers of your favorite show weren’t protesting, or the favoring of RTV. Anyways we’ll see our favorite shows returning in a few more weeks.
