By Tony Rogers

The time has come once again for another “Awesome” production from Bishop Kelly’s Drama Department. Ever since the auditions in late-February, the cast has been hard at work pumping out a new show that will literally rock your socks off. It’s set in a normal high school in a supposedly normal town. But the aspirations of four girls leads to break ups with boyfriends, hardships, revenge, and new beginnings in one of the shorter plays the drama department has down in quite a while. As the show plays out, one notices the amount of energy surging throughout the stage and crowd. With a song and dance performed by “Awesome”, the fun never ends. Another thing that seems never-ending is the cast. As it turns out, the cast in “Totally Over You” is one of the biggest in recent years. Sophomore, Torri Kerkman, plays Rachel in the show, “Rachel is a member of the drama club who helps in the revenge plot” As mentioned, the drama club is a main player in the show. As soon as the four girls break up with their boyfriends, the drama club is recruited to help bring the girls back in as many extravagant ways as possible. Senior Chelsea Stagg, a “veteran,” in terms of the number of productions she has been a part of at BK, play the head of the drama club, Letitia. “She loves drama.” Chelsea said, “She really likes to be in character.” The show is slated to run from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26 at 7 P.M. and Sunday, April 27 at noon, all in the old gym. “Totally Over You” is a family friendly production that will be sure to get laughs from all ages.
