By Alexus Allen

August 19, 2008 was the first day of school and my first day of being a Withrow freshman. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be because my classes were close together so they weren’t hard to find unlike last year when I went to Walnut Hills for 8th grade my classes were all over the place. All of my classes went well and I’m still not really having trouble in any of my classes except I’m just confused a little bit in French. I had to take a foreign language last year and it was Latin and it was so hard. But I guess I will figure it out. I came up here a couple of weeks before school started with my older brother Robert Moore who just graduated from here. Before we left our grandma house he did an interview over the phone with a company in Alabama. He was moving down there to go college so he job searching before he got there. So after he got off the phone we walked down the street to the bus stop and I was messing with him about the way he was talking to the lady that was interviewing him over the phone. We walked down the street to the bus stop and he got us there to early and he seen his friend and started talking to him. So when we got back to the house we just sat on the couch and was talking about his interview and looking at his diploma and achievement awards. When we left for the bus stop we were right on time because the bus was coming around the corner. I was falling asleep on the bus because we had stayed up all night. But when we got to the school he woke me up and we went in the building and came back out and then went to Rookwood, then we got on the bus back to our grandma house.
