By Slade Gibbs

The last hoorah is upon us yet- Grad Bash. A night, spanning until 4:30 in the morning, full of schools from across Florida spending the evening running amuck in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Hoorah.

But, we once again, are treated lesser - you see, the senior class must arrive to the gymnasium at 5 p.m., and yet we will not leave until 7:30. Why is this? This little unspoken captivity, this lay-in-waiting, this tedious pause on our evening? Well, its so the kids who come intoxicated or under the influence of drugs can sober up. Seriously? Let the drugged up suffer, let them stumble across the late night, and vomit their innards across the city streets. Expel them, deem them unfit. But don't let us waste our time waiting around for the kids who can't have fun without chemicals. We are old enough to know better.
We are old enough, now.
Regardless, I suppose this weekend will be memorable despite my unwavering fear of roller coasters and my sincere solemn attitude to Akon's assumed performance. Hoorah.
