One of Norte Vista's newest teachers, Mr. Bright

One of the new teachers on campus this year is Matthew Bright, and he has the unique assignment of working at Norte Vista and La Sierra. People shouldn't hold the fact he is a part-time Eagle against him, though. Mr. Bright teaches Special Ed math and Special Ed English at Norte Vista and he teaches the same subjects at La Sierra, where he is also the coach for water polo. He spends two periods at Norte Vista and the rest of the day teaching and coaching at La Sierra. Mr. Bright has been teaching for four years. He spent the last three years teaching at Wells Middle School. He attended Cal State University San Bernardino and received his teaching credential. A fellow student at CSUSB was new Novi math teacher Mr. Tucker. Mr. Bright has been married for ten years and doesn’t have any children. "I work with three hundred kids a day; that is enough kids for me to handle," he said. He owns two dogs named AJ and Jake and two cats named Ron and Ed.
