Solo of the Week 2

http://my.hsj.org/schools/newspaper/tabid/100/view/frontpage/schoolid/2275/articleid/237972/solo_of_the_week_2.aspx

By Will Barton

The solo of the week goes to Alexi Laiho from the band Children of Bodom. Alexi was Born April 8, 1979 in Espoo, Finland. He started Children of Bodom when he was only seventeen years old. Alexi has probably recorded more notes than Beethoven wrote in his whole career. So it’s hard to specifically point out one amazing solo because they are all absolutely astounding. But for this articles sake I will pick a solo that I think shows some of his best work. The song “Bodom Beach Terror” is off of there album “Hatecrew Deathroll”. The solo take the song to an entire new level and truly displays some of the best guitar work of our time.
