By Staff

While the US Constitution does not allow for people under the age of 18 to vote, the students of Renton Junior High held a mock election for President today, Monday November 3. With an overwhelming 62% majority (341 votes), Barack Obama and his vice presidential running mate Joe Biden won over the votes of students at Renton. Republican candidate John McCain and his running mate, Alaska Governor and Mrs. McQuiston look-alike Sarah Palin took home 38% (207) of the votes. Third party candidate Ralph Nader surprised all with only 3 votes, less than 1%. Will the nation follow the results of Renton???
