It’s a Crackdown

By Punkerr

Since the fourth quarter of school has hit, students are beginning to slack off and are forgetting the school rules. Because of this, the staff of Four County Career Center have decided to remind the students that the rules haven’t changed. This has started what has been referred to as "Blitz Day". Mrs. Hite gladly told us what we need to know about "Blitz Day" and what we can do to keep out of trouble.
While many people thought that "Blitz Day" was only one day, it really was intended to just be the rest of the school year. The academic staff of Four County expressed the fact that they were tired of telling the same students every day to take off their hats and coats. They felt as though students weren’t taking a hint. Since they were tired of telling students to take their coats and hats off every day, they decided to become a little more firm. The staff will now take away your hat or coat until the end of the day if you are wearing it in school.
Mrs. Hite feels that this has helped greatly. Since the crack down on the rules, many students have been following them more than usual. By the end of the week hardly any students had their coats or hats taken away. As Mrs. Hite pointed out, blitz by definition, means to concentrate effort to get something done, and this is exactly what the blitz did.
