			<title><![CDATA[Competition For Cause]]></title>

Students used healthy competition to gather the most items to donate to their local food bank. According to J.Paul, a teacher at TSHS, “the hippity hop races were cool and I like the idea of competition to bring in food for charity”. The school was divided into two teams, the blue team and the gold team. Each team was told to collect as many items as they could and would be competing against the team of the opposite color. The items ranged from baby diapers to toothbrushes to iPods. The collected items were set on each side of the gym, gold team on the left and blue team on the right, and then were compared by volume. In the end, the blue team ended up winning with a larger amount of items than the gold team. Together the teams gathered up enough items to fill the food bank truck about halfway  ]]></description>
