You know, the guy who followed that blue dog around looking for clues, talked to salt and pepper shakers and jumped into pictures. Steve Burns was the TV show icon. But why, at the pinnacle of his career did he unexpectedly quit? Leaving older and younger fans asking one question, “What happened to Steve?” Rumors were being spread all over. Some were saying that he committed suicide while others were saying that he overdosed on cocaine. But what was the real reason he left at the top of his career? In an interview with VH1, Steve explained that he left because he was going through what many men go through at an older age. And I don’t mean puberty. Steve was beginning to lose his hair. He didn’t want the camera to show him balding over time so he quit the show and pursued another career in music. He is now touring with famous independent bands such as They Might Be Giants and the Flaming Lips. In another interview with NPR, he says that he is enjoying playing music but people still only really seem to know him as his acting career with Blue. If you would like to learn more about Steve visit him on his Web site, steveswebpage.com, and you will learn that he’s still a fan of mail time.
