The 8 th grade football team consists of 9 coaches and 3 trainers. The head coach is Tim Wellmaker. In 8 th grade football there are 47 football players, with a division I and a division II team. The 8 th grade football team practices three days a week at Grayson High School’s practice field. The division I team is currently 1-2 and the division II team is 1-1. Matt Carley says, “We have one of the best coaching staffs in the county.” The division II team suffered a heartbreaking loss in their first game against the Parkview Panthers 25-24. With the division I team facing off against the Parkview panthers this week, it will be a tough matchup.
