By Demonte Davidson

Junior Dominique Frazier is an ordinary student who likes school and is comfortable on campus."I’m enjoying this school year," he said. He never would have expected what would happen to him one Sunday. No one would. One Sunday while Frazier was attending church, he heard loud talking outside of the church`s double doors. Suddenly three males walked in armed with pistols and demanded money and cooperation. "I was scared because I didn’t know whether I would live to see another day or not,. The robber pressed a gun against my spine," he said. The robbers singled out Frazier like they were going to make an example of him, which made everybody else follow their distinctive orders. Frazier was not only frightened but scared when being robbed. "It hurt to see my little sister in such a tragic situation," he said. In a different situation, Frazier would have fought, but because the robbers were armed, he was defenseless. Fifteen minutes after the incident, the police arrived, but neither Frazier nor the other witnesses were able to identify the bandits because they were wearing masks hiding their faces. Frazier and his family are not terribly traumatized. He said, "We just let it go." The robbers left with over 200 dollars, leaving this family`s church devastated. "Although the police arrived in ten minutes, the robbers were long gone," Frazier said. "They promised to do their best to catch them.’" While things like this have happened before, it was a first for Frazier. It truly surprised Frazier not only because it was a robbery, but also because it was in a church. "That’s the last place I would ever expect to get robbed," he said.
