If you haven’t ever seen the show, you most likely have seen the billboard for it. The billboard is the word glee, but the L is in the hand form of the infamous loser sign. That makes a lot of sense, because the show is about a group of teens that go to high school, and they are not the popular group; they are the glee club. The glee club is like a chorus group and everybody thinks they are strange and nerdy. The main character of the show is Rachel, the cute petite girl, who is 200 percent dedicated to be a huge music star. She has a crush on Finn. Finn is the star football player, but he doesn’t want to continue with football so he tried out for the Glee Club and fell in love with it. The rest of the Glee Club is not shy but they are made fun of in school, and even get smoothies thrown at their faces. Will is the teacher who started the Glee Club. When he went to high school he was in the Glee Club too, so that was one of his reasons to start up glee again. Sue is middle aged and not scared to say what is on her mind. She is the cheerleading coach. She really hates the Glee Club, because she thinks it is taking over the whole school. That is why she wants the Glee Club to be shut down. The show at first wasn’t given much credit when it piloted, but when the actual season went on air it got a lot more recognition, and then the show become permanent. Glee got a lot of press, and also won a Golden Globe, for best comedy or musical T.V. show. It also won a Screen Actors Award. Those are both two big awards for a new T.V. show. The show is appropriate for any teen because of the music and characters everybody can relate.
