We had so much fun in nature. Everyone learned about a number of things. We were placed in two groups--one went on a scavenger hunt and one went into the woods and followed a map out of the woods. Then, we sat down under the trees and had lunch. After, we cut up bulbs to see what they looked like. We split up into two groups and went on another scavenger hunt to find purple boxes with questions in them so we could win prizes. We also saw lots of animals--chipmonks, birds, and bunnies. That was our trip to the arboretum.
