Junior Seau was found dead in his home Wednesday in what is expected as a suicide. Seau’s girlfriend said she found him unconscious and with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police said they made efforts to save his life but they were unsuccessful. Police told the reporter that there was no suicide not found at the scene and they were not completely sure who the gun was registered to. Junior Seau helped lead the San Diego Chargers to a super bowl, after the 1994 season. “It’s a sad thing. It’s hard to understand,” said Bobby Beathard, the Chargers general manager. “He was really just a great guy. If you drew up a player you’d love to have the opportunity to draft and have on the team and as a team mate.” Quarterback Stan Humphries said that Seau did everything at the same pace, 110%.
