Goodbye Sweet Summer, Hello Fall

By Haleigh Hoster

Like seasons, trends change. August not only means the beginning of another wonderful school year, but also new things to buy, and new ways to change up your look. Guys, if you have shaggy hair, cut it all off; suave, short hair is the new shaggy. Girls, toss out that pink rose blush, and trade it in for a peachy shade. Throw on some similar shade of lipstick as well and you have a perfect fall look. Play up bland, static colors by picking out a more vibrant “look at me” shade of your choice. Layers and texture is also a new big must when you are picking out an outfit. Black, white, usually love them both separately, well love them both together. Black on white is another big trend of this fall. Tired of black and white, try mixing colors you would not usually mix. Love black? Make sure you add a different colored belt, or shoes to really make your out pop. Girls, don’t say goodbye to those summer dresses just yet, throw a thick-knit cardigan sweater on your shoulders, and go, because thick on light is another thing you’ll be seeing a lot of this fall. Some other fall trends include peep-toe shoes, ballet flats, patent leather, tissue t-shirts, and dramatic eyes (shades of blue, brown, or charcoal gray vs. dark, and black shades.)
