By Kathy House

With Christmas approaching, two students have gotten jobs for extra money. The first is junior Brandon Barry. For the holidays, he got a job at Game Stop. “It’s a fairly easy job if you’ve played lots of games,” he said. Barry decided to work at Game Stop because he enjoys playing video games, but he also wanted extra money for Christmas gifts. “[It gives me] extra money for presents for family,” he said. The second student is junior Quinn Ruxlow. For the last couple of years, Ruxlow has been dressing up as Santa Claus for various downtown businesses. One of the businesses that he has been in is Ace Hardware. “It’s fun to see [people]. I like to make people happy, and this is another way to do it.” Not only are these two students doing something they love, but they are earning money while doing it.
