By Devon Robinson

Why is having an ala-carte line at lunch so bad? An ala-carte line is something that has been brought up many times at school this year. People wonder why can't we have one? Not only are students talking about it, but teachers are as well. Some would like to have an ala-carte line at lunch. Many could care less, but if we had one, would it really be so bad and how badly could it damage the school? Some of the women who work in the cafeteria think it would not be such a big deal if it were organized properly, but Mrs. Stevens who runs the lunchroom and the cafeteria does not agree. “It is too costly and too much food is wasted...it could be an idea in the future, but I have to know what people would expect on an ala-carte line,” said Stevens.
