This was organized as a thank you for their support throughout the year. The program started at 12:50 and was finished around 2. About one hundred and seventy people attended the event. They had a lunch in the school cafeteria, where they got to enjoy performances by the choir, students as well as holiday music played during the lunch organized by both Mr. Brylla and Mrs. Heyer. Mr. Brylla organized a few songs for his madrigal students to sing before the food was served. They sang six songs; Deck the Halls, Silent Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Joy to the World, Betelehemu, and Bring a Torch Jeanlette Isabella. The National Honors students organize this yearly event; however, they weren’t the only students to have a hand in making this a success. Ms. Turners sixth hour helped by serving food to all of the guests. There were also students that helped with the clean up of the meal. During the meal they also passed out raffle tickets for the raffle held later during the program. Students from Mrs. Parker’s class were in charge of handing out one ticket to every person. They raffled off many things including; a big calculator, a blanket, two Santa ladders, two family inspiration plates, cheese, butter, the reindeer centerpieces, and a wreath.
