Buff Puff, color day, powder puff, Disney day, plaid day, and spirit day. Each year, Homecoming is a memorable event and this year was no exception. Homecoming week started off with unique dress up days that many students enjoyed participating in. The second annual Powder Puff football game kicked off Monday night with a senior-sophomore victory. Midweek, the Buff Puff volleyball tournament took place on early release Wednesday. This new event was run by Sophomore student council members. By Friday, students were very excited for the Homecoming game. A great crowd showed up to cheer the Panthers to victory. Panthers dominated the Buffalo Bison with a score of 20-7. Overall, the week was a great success and will be remembered as the return of some old traditions and the continuation of the rich heritage that marks Powell High School Homecoming week. ]]> Fri, 09 Oct 2009 19:48:57 GMT
