Could the irresponsibilities of two teenagers cause Kindergarten to be the next target? (Image: Clip Art)

Drug use has been prevalent in high schools and in some middle schools, but could Marijuana be invading the halls of Kindergarten? Video has surfaced of two teenagers from Forth Worth, Texas giving Marijuana to two boys ages five and two. The video took place at the apartment of the boys’ uncle, Dennis McCoy. The mother was later found to be sleeping in the other room while the event took place. The teenagers, caught on video, were shown teaching the young boys how to smoke; even going as far as to call them “potheads” and asking if they had the “munchies.” Minutes later one of the boys was later shown adeptly smoking on his own, implying prior exposure to drugs. The video features the young boys laughing and stumbling, an effect of their drug use. The act has spurred much controversy. Junior, Jordan Lang commented on the actions of the young boys stating, “Pretty stupid to be doing that.” Similar sentiments were found with Junior, Chris Leach who when asked about the incident replied, “I think it’s bad.” The responsibility of the teenagers has also been brought to question, Junior, Ryan Rogers believes that “The teens were irresponsible and should not be left around children again.” The official response has been equally as powerful. “"I have never seen anything like this quite so disturbing," said Bruce Ure, director of public safety for the Watauga Police Department, in Fort Worth. The two teenagers have been charged with third degree felony charges and the boys have been placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.
