There has been a lot of giving here at Clyde C. Miller Career Academy. The staff and students have all participated in numerous activities in giving to charity. This has ranged from collection of money for books and other expenses for needy children in another country and a toy drive for those families who are in need. As a result for giving, we got the chance to experience not one but two dress down days. Some people may have thought that the three dollar charge was too much, but it was worth the cause. Some people just felt that giving was the right thing to do, while others just did it for the fun of it. Some people just sat back and thought is this really worth their money. I have heard some grunts and groans but I see that it was a wonderful out come. Many people do not see how fortunate they are until everything they have is taken from them. For an example, many people brought toys instead of money, this was their way of giving. The toy drive was also a wonderful success.
