By De'Vaughnte Elder

“The team has been working really hard this year,” said cross country coach, Mr.herberghs “We need five runners but we’ve been the last races very openly.” The team has improved a lot, but Herberghs says, “it’s very hard to come up with a record because, we ran pac-7 duals. In these meets, we put our scores against other teams in the Pac-7 but we finished toward the lower half of the league.” Coach Herberghs would like to give special recognition to Mike Buckleaw, Broeden Scuminski, and James Hampton. These players deserve special recognition “because these three play soccer, yet they are dedicated enough to come and run cross country, when they don’t have soccer games.” Great job this year cross country atheletes!
