By Kat N., Brandon E., Natalie L., and Jeffrey T.

In the past, students were required to bring their ID cards to school everyday, yet teachers and faculty were lenient on the issue through the years. This year is different, in which each student must have their identification cards out at all times. This rule will be strictly enforced throughout this school year. Except for the occasional moaning and groaning from students when the issue is brought up, most are accepting this new rule. It doesn't take long to realize that students may want to show off their ID cards to everyone around them. For those who like to wear them, it's more of a new fashion trend. The school has helped the students out by providing clips for everyone to clip it onto an article of clothing. Most students like to put them on their belt or waist, which is acceptable as long as it is visible. For those students who are not into trends or don't like the new rule are still responsible for wearing their ID cards. If there is one thing Florin High School students are good at, it is change. We would like to thank all students for accepting the recent changes and all the changes made throughout all the school years. Some rules have been harder to get over than this new ID one but students have helped tremendously by following all the rules.
