The countdown has begun.  One week (or less if your reading this late), then their gone.  The class of ’09 is ready to “bounce.”  Graduation is approaching and senioritis is at its worst.  A fun filled week is in store for the seniors, who will enjoy paintball and six flags.  The diploma is nothing but a stretch away.  No more homework, tardies, or detentions…. Well, at least until college.
Thumbs Down: Saying Goodbye to Richland

Everyone has their share of memories from high school.  Some are good, others we wish we could forget, but one thing is for certain, saying goodbye to friends and teachers will turn into a sad farewell.  Every year seniors walk through the hallways of Richland High School for the last time. Reminiscing on their past years perhaps they remember when they got in trouble by Mrs. Carmack for chewing gum in class, or all of those hours spent in ASD for Mr. Gisi’s math class.  Then they remember the fun times they will never get back; challenging Coach Knight to a ping-pong match, and joking around with Ms. Swindell during art.  Those will be the memories that will last a lifetime.  The influence this school has made on all of its pupils, whether good or bad, will never be forgotten.  The class has grown together just to grow apart, and that is something worth tears.
