			<title><![CDATA[How to plan your Homecoming day: Tips for boys and girls]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <div class='ArticleAuthor'>By Samantha Lilley</div><br><div class='ArticleImgDesc'><img style='width:350px' src="http://my.hsj.org/portals/2/data/gallery_images/otguLa579h_3039333.jpg" /><br /><p><br></p></div>A Homecoming Day for a High School Girl:  8:00 a.m. - Wake up to the early morning sun and walk to the kitchen to quickly eat breakfast.  8:30 a.m. - After breakfast, hurry to take a quick shower, brush teeth, style hair (make sure its not a mess), put on make-up, pick out the perfect mall outfit, and head out the door to pick up a friend  11:00 a.m. - Get a Mani and a Pedi, and gossip with friend about who’s wearing what to the dance and who’s going with who.  12:30 p.m. - Get lunch and call date to see if he’s up yet. Leave a message on his voicemail hoping he’ll call back.  1:30 p.m. - Drive over to the hair salon to get their hair done.  4:00 p.m. - Arrive back home, and call date again, just to hear that he got up at 1:00 in the afternoon from playing Halo all night with friends.  5:00 p.m.  - Date finally arrives along with his friend. Take pictures until faces hurt from smiling for their parents and friends.  6:00 p.m.  - Meet everyone at the restaurant to try and get a table big enough for everyone.  7:30 p.m.  - Pile everyone into the car to head to the school. Arrive to meet and say “hi” to everyone they know  8:00 p.m.  - Finally, dance till the clock strikes 11:00…  A Homecoming Day for a High School Boy:  12:30 p.m. - Wake up to cell phone going off and to see that your date called and left a voicemail. Remind yourself to make a mental note to call her back later.  1:00 p.m. - Gets up and eat whatever is in the refrigerator.  2:30 p.m. - Spend the morning relaxing by taking a shower and watching some TV.  4:00 p.m. - When your date calls back to ask why you did not return her call, apologize and tell her how excited you are for the night.  4:10 p.m.  - Get dressed, and run a brush through your hair, brush teeth, and puts on cologne.   4:30 p.m.  - Pick friend up and head to date’s house, dreading the hour that he’s going to  have to spend taking pictures.  5:00 p.m.  - Arrive your date’s house, give the guys high-fives, and give your date her corsage. Stand still while parents and friends take thousands of pictures of the same thing.  6:00 p.m - Arrives at the restaurant to get something to eat to keep yourself from starving.  7:30 pm. - After getting through with pictures, everyone piles into the car, all while the girls gossip away and the guys talk about the football game last night.  8:00 p.m. - Finally, get down to what homecoming is all about: having fun. ]]></description>
