After what seems like a long off-season, Mitchell’s baseball team is ready to take the field for the first time this season in some games. The team will be kicking off the season with a game against Harrison on March 8. The Marauders will also be playing March 15 at home against Wasson and March 18 at Air Academy. March will be a very busy month for the baseball team because they will be playing a total of 7 games, including games during spring break in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Other games will be played March 22 against Coronado, a game against Pine Creek on March 20, and when they face off against Widefield on March 26. Baseball is a sport that’s booming in popularity in Colorado due to the Colorado Rockies success last season in the MLB, so catch some of our school’s action this year.
