Everyone has seen it and no doubt every girl that has an online profile has done it. That picture that you take by yourself that is tilted up with your arm in the shot and your eyes looking up, amply deemed the "MySpace picture." C'mon, you know it. The one that everyone thinks makes them look good? Why do we do that? Who invented that? At first it was cute like "hey look how innocent my eyes look but how fiery I seem to act with my body and how awesome my random piece of arm looks," but lately every time I see it or even try to do it (yes I will admit I am guilty of that crime)I just want to strangle the person who invented it more and more. This just gives girls a reason to be conceited.

My sister and I take those pictures. We pose and hold up her iphone to get the best possible shot of us, so she can crop me out later and put it on Facebook (lol I kid she doesn't do that all the time). And I will admit sometimes they do come out great, I mean the hair falls right, the eyes sparkle cutely and the smile just screams "cute cute cute!" But other times, you look at the picture and you wonder "why does my face look like that?" or "my hair looks like a grease ball on my head!" And those are some pictures that people put up thinking, "cute cute cute!" PLEASE! Wash your hair and fix your face and you'll see the dramatic difference.

The pictures of themselves people put up really tell so much about them and when those type of pictures are posted it only shows unsuspecting web surfers that you are a funny looking freak. Ok serious moment of this blog, ahem, It shows the public a side of you that I am not even sure you realize is there. That part of you that is just "This is what I look like without makeup." Get it? It's like showing your real face on a job interview as opposed to the pretty, made up face of a professional. What would an employer rather see, a pretty made up professional or a wrinkly unkept mess? Now think about this, employers google you after they interview you to see if you're the real deal. Do you think you're gonna get the job looking like you do in that "MySpace picture"? Doubt it. Now let's bring that back to the web surfers. Who wants to befriend a conceited grease ball? ... Case closed.
