In the past several months maybe even years, “Go Green” has been a big issue on our planet. People have tried to recycle, change their light bulbs to energy saving light bulbs and even recyclable bags. Almost every big store has recyclable bags. According to the passage; ” To really save the planet, stop going green” isn’t really saving our planet the way people expected it to. Companies have spent tons of money on advertisement and commercials to try to save our planet and make people “go green.”

            If the main cause of global warming is due to burning coal, oil and natural gases, then why haven’t they tried to fix that problem sooner? In 2020 it may be too late to try and save the planet. What is global warming exactly doing to our planet? Is it going to cause a black hole or pollute the world so bad that it will be impossible to breathe?

            Now people may question if the whole “go green” issue even helped out the planet one bit. Many people spent lots of money on stuff to try and save our planet and I’m sure they will be disappointed if they found out it doesn’t help. I think this article needed quotes from companies that spent lots of money on the “go green” issue, I would like to see what they have to say about this article, it would really spice it up.

            There are positives to stopping “go green” but there are negatives as well. on my opinion people have adapted to helping out the planet with the energy bulbs and recyclable bags, etc. and it’s not going to pleasant when they find out they have been wasting money. This can also help those who have been spending money on extras to stop due to the economy. There is a bright side , I guess it just depends on how you see it.
