Grades are essential if you want to pass the school year, so it is important that you make sure to maintain a good grade-point average throughout the entire school year.

It is somewhat easy but also rewarding in the things you can do if you keep you grades in check.

You can do this by listening to what the teacher has to say and take notes on things you don't understand. That way after class you can ask the teacher what he meant by what he said that you could not understand completely.

Then you can take the notes you took home with you and study them for an upcoming pop quiz, test, or just to know them. That way when the teacher asks you what something is you can tell him exactly what it was and you had no problem because you knew it.

Getting good grades is also rewarding too because if you have good grades you can go out for many rewarding activities like football, basketball, Scholars bowl and other types of sports and activities.

So if you get good grades or at least a B and C average, you can do a lot of school activities that can take away stress of school from you and your friends.
