Have you ever noticed that whenever a celebrity or some random person in America starts to talks stupidly and makes a fool of himself, he all of a sudden, gets very popular and gets all the publicity? Every time you turn on the news you see his face and then you see the news anchor talking about the latest stunt that person did. Charlie Sheen is the BEST example of this. All he does is try to get publicity. I am sure that right now Charlie Sheen is at his house laughing at the news coverage. If the news would just leave the topic alone he would stop; it is like a kid who is bored; until you give him his attention he will just keep doing dumb stuff. The thing that is fueling his fire is the fact that everybody is giving him his attention. We should just not care about him when there are more serious stories out there and more people who need our attention. If we stop watching the news about him and stopped caring about his life, he would stop.

The Kardashians have been America’s biggest attention hoarders for a very long time. It is either Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian or Rob Kardashian who occupies the center of attention on America’s TV stations. The Kardashians are just some of the spotlight hoarders who take spots away from good stories and news people actually need to hear and watch instead of seeing the highlights from “Keeping up with the Kardashians” or Charlie Sheen’s newest interview. We should stop watching the reality television or even interviews about the people because all we are doing is setting them up for more attention.

Television will never be the same as it was years ago. now is just dramas and reality shows that make people want more and make people excited for the next episode so they can jump all of over it. The best way to get rid of the idiots on the television in American is by ignoring the dumb celebrities and concentrating on stories that cheer people up, not the celebrity’s latest stunt at a club.
