Summer is almost here and what better way to start it off than with some style! Everyone is raving over the hottest summer trends, and it’s sure to be the most fashionable summer yet!

   This summer is all about the classic look. Anything with lace or floral patterns is all the rage. A cute tank with some lace or a nice floral top would do the trick. Elegant blouses are also a must have for the summer, and crop tops are coming back with a vengeance. The look everyone should be going for is a ‘70s glamour or a ‘70s bohemian type of look. High waisted p ants and shorts are making their way back in! Say goodbye to low rise and hello to high waist! Mixing and matching colors and patterns could never hurt. Try a lace tank with some high waist shorts and bright colored flip flops to make your outfit pop, girls! Or try and wear some stripes and a cute lace skirt! Floral dresses or long slim sundresses and gladiator sandals would make a cute outfit for a sun filled day!        

   Metallic’s and neon’s are also all the rage this summer.  A cute neon tank or v-neck would look adorable with some metallic sandals and a pair of high waisted shorts.  You could even pull off some neon make up, but use it to a certain extent.  Be careful not to go too overboard.  You don’t want to look like you just escaped the circus!

   For the guys, patterned shorts and v necks are where it’s at. Add some flip flops to the mix as well. Guys could even add a little neon to their wardrobe with a pair of sunglasses or a t- shirt. Khaki shorts also never hurt. Every guy can make Khaki’s work.  Tanks are also a good idea for guys to show off their summer muscles, and their tans. Adidas sandals are what a lot of guys are wearing these days, comfy and stylish.

    This summer, the 70’s are making their comeback, and colors are what it’s all about. Make sure to get your style on and make a statement! Summer 2011, it’s going to be one for the books!
