Over the years in high school, the current seniors have gained many awesome memories. Some being funny, embarrassing, or just plain memorable.

A funny memory one senior had was from a day at the park. Ashley Estes, a senior, said “One day after school I went to the park with some friends. We ended up playing tag and hide n seek for hours. We even pushed our friend Darian Tang on the swing so high, that it flipped and he went flying! He landed gracefully though. Even though we are seniors and going to college, I love how we can act like kids again.”

Memories can happen even in the halls! A special event is not the only way to have a special memory. Angel Zhao, a senior, talked about her embarrassing encounter one day in the halls. She said, “One day, I was walking to class with my friend and I saw these people in front of me. I thought he was one of my very close friends. We have a weird way of greeting each other. I ran up behind him and squeezed his butt and said, “Hey cutie!” He turned around, winked at me, and said “Hey!” It turns out, the person who I thought was my friend was actually an underclassman. The friend who I thought I was greeting was behind me and saw the whole thing. I was so embarrassed. I’m never greeting anyone weirdly again.”

Some memories are just so out of the oridnary. Vincent Louie, a senior, had an unpleasant encounter on the first floor boy’s bathroom. He said, “I really needed to use the bathroom one day. I ran to the first floor bathroom and was greeted by a smell. Usually, the bad smell is pretty tolerable. This time, it smelled so much worse. I went to look in the stalls to find the source of the smell and flush it. I opened a stall, and to my surprise, there was poo all over the floor. It was disgusting. It made the whole bathroom unusable because it smelled so bad.”

Everybody has memorable times in high school. These years are the best years of our lives. Make sure you make the most of it.
