"Weave, weave, weave me the sunshine out of the pouring rain.  Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow and fill my cup again." - Peter Yarrow

Our sunshine of the summer has finally come.  We've been getting so much rain this past month or so.   A few days of sun are greatly appreciated.  Sunny days and old songs, such as The Beatles, make me happy.  ("Here comes the sun, little darlin'!")  It's been feeling so great outside.  I even planted some flowers in a flowerpot.  I can tell that a lot of students have been out in the sun too, judging by the lobster sunburns.  Personally, I myself, haven't really been out much.  ... Yeah, I guess I'm lazy and this blog would seem kind of hypocritical.
My sister came home last night from Columbus.  (She lives there.)  Yesterday, she did a photoshoot with me.  She does photography in college and she picked a few nice scenery areas.  One was in our back woods on one of the trails.  (Quite an adventure avoiding all the spring insects.)  But, I had a great time.
This lovely weather is also inspiring to get physically fit.  I want to lose a few pounds this summer.  After spending a weekend with a fit friend of mine, I realized how unhealthy I was.  She would always want to go jogging and I had to try to convince her to take a walk instead.  (I've never been a jogger.)  And it's kind of embarrassing being the last person to finish "The Mile" in gym class for the semester exam.  It's been on my mind now and then about eating healthier.  I've experienced how much more energy my friend has to do things and how much less she eats.  So, she inspires me, too.  I hope to have a wonderful summer with all my camping trips and getting into the Bible more.

But, first is to get through all of these exams!
