About Me

My full name is Leah Brianne Diedrick. I am seventeen years old and a senior at Eastern, but I attend Shawnee State University full time. I am a member of Eastern's Marching Band, the yearbook committee, Student Council, Softball, Journalism, my church youth group, 4-H, and I am the co-secretary for the senior class, along with Kayla Blanton. But the only thing that those activities say about me is that I am an extremely busy student! People are always asking me what i want to major in or what I want to do when I grow up, but I honestly have no idea at this point. The only things I am certain about are that I want to travel, and I want to make a difference for people. My recent mission trip to Kenya has helped me realize this. I have always liked to write. English and History are, and always have been, my favorite subjects in school. I joined journalism because I have been thinking that I might want to study it in college, and being apart of the school newspaper would help me do that.
