I'm going to be writing about different endangered species of animals for the E-Zine. This week in Chapter 1, I'm sharing information about Bengal Tigers which are an endangered species.

Bengal tigers are beautiful creatures that live in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, and Siberia. They can weigh up to 575 pounds and live for about 15 years. In 1900, there were 50,000 Bengal tigers.

That number has dropped terribly. In 2000 there were 4,000 tigers. This number has dropped because they have been hunted for their pelts. If you find a place that sells Bengal tiger pelts you should…

    * Find out if the coat is a real Bengal Tiger pelt

If it is you should…

    * Call the police, it is a CRIME to kill these animals

If not, you can…

    * Go on with your day
