Editorial: Justin Bieber- Don’t Hate, Appreciate
Advertising
Ever since Justin Bieber hit the music world with his first single, “One Time,” people have made fun of him. Bieber has a large amount of haters who hate on him for no exact reason.

When he was 15, Bieber was made fun of about his voice. Now, Bieber is 17 with a much deeper voice, but is still called a girl and gay. What these people do not realize about Justin is that his haters do not faze him. Bieber is an international superstar on a tight schedule, which does not involve him moping about what someone said to him. Bieber has been known for “going off” on some people who have made hateful comments. In fact, on the day that his music video for “Baby” got more dislikes than likes (which is also the most viewed video on YouTube), he commented back on two people’s posts who made really ugly comments.

Bieber grew up in harsh conditions. He lived with his single mother, and Bieber could not afford many of the things that his parents could as children. Ever since Bieber became famous, he has been giving back to people like he before becoming famous. In fact, on his sold-out “My World Tour,” Bieber donated $1 from every ticket sold from all of his concerts to Pencils of Promise. Bieber has made millions of dollars for Pencils of Promise to build new schools in developing countries. I went to his North Little Rock, Ark., concert on July 29, 2010, and I am proud to say some of my money was used to help build a new school.

Bieber is also a hard worker. He is working on a brand new studio album, but he is also in his senior year of high school. Bieber travels to new places all the time, and he juggles all of this stuff at the same time. You also cannot forget that Bieber is still a kid himself, but he will turn 18 on March 1st. Bieber does more things in a day than his haters do in a week. He works so hard for his fans, and would do anything for them, yet people still have enough nerve to make fun of him? I think if people realized how hard Bieber worked and where he came from, they would have a different perspective. They would not call him gay or say he is a girl. They might appreciate him.

Bieber is now in the recording studio working hard on his upcoming album Believe. Bieber will be having a new Believe tour in 2013.

Many other Arkansan girls and I are hoping and praying that Bieber will come to Arkansas on this tour. Maybe I will get to see him for the second time.

I totally agree with the piece. People really forget that beneath the screaming fans and the superficial looks likes a real artist. If Justin bieber was just a pretty face he wouldn't survive all those years and increase his fan base steadily. It's time to appreciate one of the most interesting artists around and applaud him!
