the alleged "UFO" found by using a sonar - Brit Waddle
Advertising

In the Baltic Sea, a group of people led by the researcher Peter Linberg were exploring the sea to find a wrecked ship full of rare alcohol.  During the scanning of the seafloor, they discovered something very odd.  It was a circular object at the bottom of the sea which completely baffled Linberg.

He said that even though hes been researching the seas for years, this was the oddest thing that he has ever found.

Without any hesitation, he declared that he had indeed found a UFO.  His only bit of evidence was the 300 meters of what could be drag marks indicating that the UFO crashed and abruptly halted to a stop.

There are mixed feelings about this topic.  Some people believe that it actually could be a UFO, but some people believe that it is completely moronic that this the first thing that the discoverers claim.  On a side note, some people actually think that it looks like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.

There are many questions brought up about this, however.  For example, why is nobody sending robots to go take pictures of the object if they’re so interested in it? If it is a UFO, wouldn’t the government hide it from the public? What is taking so long for people to look at what it actually is?

These questions put doubt into people’s minds that this is actually a UFO.  The fact that Linberg automatically assumed that it was a UFO was rather suspicious, which causes people to also think that he reported it only for publicity.

Whether it is a UFO or not, many people have mixed reactions over this subject, and it makes for compelling press. Indeed, there may be, just maybe, UFOs in Sweden.

"why is nobody sending robots to go take pictures of the object if they’re so interested in it? If it is a UFO, wouldn’t the government hide it from the public?" A couple of bad assumptions by the reporter... Uh... because its winter and the Baltic is incredibly "robot" unfriendly at this time of the year? Which "government" and once the story breaks how could it be hidden?

First, your assertions are not accurate. Peter Lindbergh did not immediately claim he found a UFO. If you actually read the reports from the initial discovery you will see that Lindbergh claimed he did not know what the side sonar revealed. He even admitted it could be a rock formation. In addition, had you actually comprehended the reports, you would know that the site has not been revisited since the "finding" because of two reasons: finances and rough seas. The treasure hunters are waiting until Spring before they revisit the site. No where have I read any credentialed individual describing Lindbergh's reaction as "moronic." That may be your take but without a quote, you are way out of line condemning a man for something he never said or did.
