Coming off of a successful 2010-2011 campaign, the varsity girls soccer team has high hopes for the upcoming season.

The Lady Tigers posted a solid 15-5-2 record last year, which was slightly tarnished by a four game skid to end the season. Roseville outscored opponents by a staggering ratio of 71-15, largely due in part to two defeats over Nevada Union High School of 14-0 and 7-0.

The Lady Tigers return twelve players, including top goal scoring and assist leader, University of Arizona-commit Paige Crouch.

Four year varsity player and captain Kelsey DeCarlo, who committed to Humboldt State in the off season, also returns for the Lady Tigers.

Roseville opened the season with a contest against Center High School last Friday. The Lady Tigers came out on top, defeating Center 4-0 at home. Crouch scored two goals and senior Amanda Susbilla and sophomore Marissa Stone contributed with one goal each.

The Lady Tigers will start league play on March 21 with an away game versus the Lady Timberwolves of Woodcreek High School.
