In modern society people are wondering if the “American Dream” can still be accomplished. Before I go any further the American Dream is gaining success, prosperity and their future throughout the person’s life. This is a very debatable subject because there are only two sides of the truth, the half that accomplishes it and the half that does not. The American Dream is different for everyone. Some say, the American Dream is just the idea of being successful. Who believes in this dream?
The American Dream is out there. You just have to be willing to get that controller or that T.V. out of your way to see it. 62 percent of all Americans accomplish their dream. According to money.questionsthatmatter.info the thirty eight percent that do not accomplish it is due to drugs, loss of jobs and laziness.
The idea that gets in people’s heads is that they do not feel like they have the charisma or the looks to be able to accomplish their dream. I believe the dream is what is in your heart not in your mind.
Some people do not have the same opportunity as others to succeed. It is because of their family’s mistake or because of financial problems. But you can fix that, take action and sign up for scholarships. Colleges are looking for you and if it is a family thing ask for help from someone you look up to like a teacher or your friend’s dad. As long as you take the time to look, you will find a way.
It is not always about the measure of your physical strength, but rather the strength in your heart.
A famous man by the name of Joe Dirt once said, “Life’s a garden, dig it” you can do whatever you want (Metaphorically speaking). All you have to put your mind to it.
Yes it will take time and yes it will be difficult but during your long run you will look back and see how much you have accomplished. The harder you work the more the reward will mean to you in the end.
I believe that you have to look long and hard because the American Dream has “Dusty Roads”. Life is not meant to be a breeze. It is meant for you to work at.
Never stop trying. Go into a step farther think of your future. It is the sweet life and it could be yours.
