    Meditation is another form of medicine that helps relaxing and mental calmness through the use of controlling of suspending thoughts for a certain amount of time. Since meditation involves physical and mental relaxation, its a great way to relieve stress. "When some people hear about meditation as a way to relieve stress they laugh and think its a bunch of baloney. They think that meditation is not a good solution to eliminating stress. But research has shown that meditation works and is a practical technique for stress management." 
    Meditation is all about consciously relaxing your mind and body for a period of time. Meditation means that you need to focus so intense, so that your mind is so busy focusing on breathing and the body, that there's no time to think about events that are causing the person to stress. 
    The act of meditation is very easy to do. Meditation does not require you to be spiritual at all. Meditation is something that anyone can do, and almost anywhere. Meditation doesn't require hours of practicing at a time for it to be effective in reducing stress. In order to get the full potential of relieving stress is to be comfortable and calm through out the whole process. 
    There are many different types of meditation, ways to control wondering thoughts is to use imagery. This is very popular in meditation to relieve stress. The key to meditation is mind control, when you learn to control your mind you can control your thoughts. Which relaxes you. All these different tips can help reduce stress.
    With all the different types of meditations for stress relief, what will work for you? Meditation has huge benefits to help reduce stress and overall health. While there are a variety of different meditations that feel more comfortable for some people more then others. The ones that seem you like you should try. The options of the types of meditations are almost limitless. Here are a few different types:
1. Basic mindfulness meditation, it involves increased awareness of the present moment. With practice and experience it can be used anywhere, and can bring a stress free life. This technique is one of the most common and easiest types of meditation.
2. One of the more delicious meditation techniques is the, chocolate meditation. This can be completed in a few minutes. You just endure your self with the chocolate and lose yourself in the moment and the flavor.
3.Mantra meditation, one of the simpler meditations to learn, and has been proven to effectively relieve stress. Mantra consists of repeating one word over and over. Concentrating on that word making your mind go into the subconscious of your mind.
    So as its been state meditation relieves stress and there are many ways and techniques to do so. You just need to find the ones that your most comfortable with.
