The purpose of this movie was to inform people about what life is like when coming across the border from Mexico. The struggles of fighting their way to a new and better life then what they had before. From being in gangs to being an innocent bystander, they all want to have a better life.
I think some of the things that went on In the movie is true and some is just really good imagination. I won’t know because I have never experienced it. From one of my fellow class mates she said “it’s very hard to come across the border because of being an immigrant.” The things that they faced in the movie was very hard. From being robed all the way to actually being killed. Very intense.
I thing regular people need to know that, people that do come from Mexico is that these people do have hearts. These people also are coming over here to have a better life to live, instead of living in poverty through their lives. What they have to deal with the things going to America shouldn’t be acceptable because it doesn’t make any since to be killed just to have a better life. Anybody should be able to live free and happy.
They way that MS 13 portrays the military or the government is that, you have to go through some things before you can become a part of them. You have to either dress a certain way or do certain things to fit in.
“Smiley”, a young boy that was jumped into the gang killed his best friend because he was scared of keeping another secret from the gang. He went from just stealing cd’s and radio player to killing people.
